IRS Standing The state unit, under the charter agreement, may use the 5O1(c) 3 of the World Congregational Fellowship Church which is the parent company of the National Chaplains Corps. The unit must comply with all Federal and State tax laws and provide a copy of federal tax returns to the National Chaplains Corps each year in order to operate under the WCFC's 5O1(c) 3 umbrella. The federal tax ID number will be sent to the new unit after all contracts have been signed and all monies paid. Failure to renew the unit charter each year will result in the loss of this privilege and the IRS will be notified.

New Chaplains
All chaplains are required to register once a calendar year with the National Chaplains Corps national headquarters on or before the first day of each new year Paying all the current fees associated with registration and/or renewal. Current fees are $100.00 per calendar year.
